A Dreamer’s Way of Life
Reality checks and dream signs alone have a ceiling. What pushes past it is treating the practice as a daily habit, not a nightly ritual.
Reality checks and watching for dream signswork, but they have a ceiling on their own — run in isolation, a few times a day, they only get you so far. The people who see lucid dreams show up regularly aren’t doing more techniques. They’re living the practice, not scheduling it.
The gap isn’t technique. It’s what you do the other sixteen hours.
That means the dream journal runs every single morning without exception, not just on nights you remember something. It means intent is set with real attention, not muttered half-asleep. It means reality checks happen at genuine daily triggers, not only when you happen to think of it. None of these individually is new — the shift is running all of them consistently enough that they stop feeling like separate techniques and start feeling like how you live.
Once that consistency is in place, something changes: lucidity stops requiring effort in the moment. You’re not trying to trigger it — you’ve built the conditions where it shows up on its own.
